Each book is designed to help teachers understand specific curriculum concepts to support them implementing the mandated curriculum. Each is designed as a straightforward introduction and overview of concepts and strategies.
Each book in the series is organised to answer three questions:
What do we teach – the curriculum, the subject in schools?
How do we teach the Arts – concepts and strategies?
Why do we teach the Arts?
In 2022 ACARA, the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority, published a revised Arts Curriculum. These texts will be updated for the revised curriculum.
